Our story
My name is Eugenio, and I've been guiding treks across Tenerife since 2013.
It started long before that. In 2008 I visited the island for the first time as a tourist — bus excursions, busy viewpoints, the standard route. It was enjoyable, but I could sense there was a completely different Tenerife hiding just beyond what the agencies were showing people.
The following year I came back with my family and spent three weeks exploring independently. We discovered Anaga, stumbled across the wild beach of Benijo, drove winding mountain roads with no particular plan. That trip changed everything. I left knowing I wanted to come back — and stay.
Over the next few years I returned again and again, going deeper into the mountains each time, finding trails and corners of the island that most visitors never see. In 2013 I made it permanent. I moved to Tenerife, spent my free time hiking, and began sharing what I'd found with others.
What started as a passion quietly became a profession. My experience grew, my knowledge of the island deepened, and I was eventually hired as a guide by a well-known hiking magazine. Today I lead tours independently, supported by a small team of people who love this island as much as I do.
